It was definitely a scary time. After being diagnosed, I was moved to the oncology department at Saint Rose Dominican Hospital Saint Rose. Little did I know I would be spending the next 54 days hospitalized in the same room on the oncology department. During that time I became friends with all the people on that floor, and will never forget how well I was treated. There isn’t just one person who took care of me, there was a team of people that should be recognized. I am unable to provide to you their last names, their first names are; Day Shift; Lea, Sarah, Meredith, Gina, May, Melody, Lisa, Julia Night shift; Jennielyn, Kevin, Tania, Jeanette, Linda While , this doesn’t represent everyone who to care of me, all the nursing assistances should be recognized as well. My number one nursing assistance would be Judy! She made me feel super special and I’m forever grateful. The team of doctors who took care of me should be recognized as well. The oncology department was awesome as I went into remission after my first treatment, and remain in remission and on my journey to good health thanks to you and your team! I am forever grateful.
