I would personally like to recognize and thank Fele D. for the extraordinary care she gave me from the moment I was admitted to the hospital. I have always had a deep fear of hospitals, but Fele immediately made me feel safe and welcomed. She cared for me with genuine compassion, patience, and kindness. When my anxiety became overwhelming, she knew how to calm me, reassure me, and help me understand what was happening. Most importantly, Fele helped me find the courage to move forward with the open-heart surgery that ultimately saved my life. Her attention to detail and commitment to my well-being went far beyond what I ever expected. Even after my surgery, when I was no longer assigned to her section or floor, she continued checking on me and came to visit just to make sure I was doing okay. Fele was more than a caregiver. She was a source of comfort, strength, and hope during one of the most frightening times of my life. I will never forget the love and compassion she showed me or the important role she played in saving my life. Thank you, Fele, from the bottom of my newly repaired heart. You are truly the best caregiver anyone could ever hope to have, and I will always be grateful for you.
